Flight & Ferry

The nearest airport is Athens International Airport, which is about a 1h taxi ride from Piraeus Port, where the ferries to Hydra depart.
We recommend purchasing your ferry tickets in advance at the following
 link.

Taxi boats

There are no cars on the island of Hydra; you can get around by walking or by taxi boat.
At the port, you’ll find larger boats that run on a schedule and take you to the main hotels, restaurants, and beach clubs (around €10 per person round trip), as well as private boats (around €30 per ride per boat).
